Paradise Philippines - Pagsanjan Laguna is celebrating it’s Pagsanjan Bangkero Festival starting March. Pagsanjan is named as the tourist capital of Laguna and one of the popular world class tourist destination of the paradise philippines because of its natural wonders and enchanted scenic views. The main tourist attraction in Pagsanjan is the Pagsanjan Falls. The ‘bangkeros’ are tour guides that steer the tourists’ bancas, they are called the boatmen who shoot the rapids all the way to the world-famous Pagsanjan Falls.

The Pagsanjan Bangkero Festival theme this year is "Pagsanjan Falls! Kalikasang Totoo…Sikat sa Buong Mundo!" in which it promotes local tourism and protect our environment. The festival has many activities like marathon, boat races, fluvial and land parades, drum and lyre band competitions, and other sporting and special events to spice up the celebration.

There will also be the search for the "Lakan at Binibining Pagsanjan", the "Ginoong Bangkero 2007" and the Inter-School Videoke challenge to tap local talents.

The highlights of the festivities will be on March 18. The famous fluvial parade competition on the Pagsanjan River will be held in this day. Not only that, the most exciting dancing competition and final round of the boat race in scheduled in this day also.

The 4 day event will conclude San Miguel Night variety show and an evening fireworks display.
